Jackson Audubon Society 2017 Early Wildfowl Trip

Saturday, March 25, 2017 4:56 PM | Steve Jerant (Administrator)

Eight JAS members braved the wet morning to visit various Jackson water spots for the annual Early Waterfowl Trip.  We visited Watkins Lake SP, Norvell Lake, Clark Lake, Portage Lake, and Cutler Road.  Of special interest were the five Ross’s geese at Watkins Lake, Common Loon and Red-breasted merganser at Clark Lake, another loon and a Horned grebe at Portage, and a good finish at Cutler Rd. with a pair of Trumpeter swans.
